Synopsis

Life for Griffin Keyes (Kevin James) is limited to the confines of the Franklin Park Zoo, where he works as a zookeeper. He dearly loves his job, just as the animals at the zoo adore him.

But he soon realizes that he is falling into a socially unhealthy rut, where he would rather spend a night locked with a lion in a cage, than with a beautiful lady in bed. He knows that there is a problem when he finds himself tongue-tied in the presence of women, and dreads having to step out of the zoo into the real world. He becomes miserable when he falls in love with the charismatic Stephanie (Leslie Bibb), who turns him down because of his career as a zookeeper.
