Synopsis

Estranged relationships taking furious turns and reaching the destination of bloody fights in a martial arts ring – this is what forms the crux of the movie, Warrior. This movie belongs to the stream of family drama, which will keep you hooked, till the very end. The movie talks about an alcoholic named Paddy Conlon, who was a martial art trainer and had to undergo a rehabilitation process, after his family shatters. Scared of a disastrous past, that included fights between Tommy’s mother and father, he returns home for the first time in fourteen years. He, actually, wants his father, Paddy, to train him for Sparta, which is a major “winner-takes-it-all” event, in the mixed martial arts form. He is willing to enter this bloody sport, to reduce the gap between his family members. Being a former wrestling sensation, Tommy takes on a path that leads him towards the championship. On the other hand, his brother Brendan, an ex-fighter-turned teacher, returns to the ring in an anxious bid to save his family from economic downfall. But when Brendan’s improbable underdog rise sets him on a ‘clash course’ with the inexorable Tommy, the two brothers now finally deal with each other and the forces that kept them apart.
