Synopsis

The third movie in the Transformers series is bound to make you look at the moon in a new light. The story fictionalizes the event of man's first steps on the moon. According to the movie, when John F. Kennedy, the president of USA in 1961, sent the spacecraft Apollo 11 to the moon, with astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin on board, his purpose was a secret mission. This mission aimed to investigate an alien spaceship 'Ark' that had accidentally crashed on the rear side of the moon. When the astronauts reach the moon, they find 'Ark' with a comatose pilot, Sentinel Prime. Ark supposedly carries an invention that is capable of ending the war between the Decepticons and Autobots. In the present day, the Autobots working in collaboration with the US army, discover traces of the lost spaceship and send a mission to the moon. Sentinel activates the transporting pillars, that were recovered from the moon and through these, a stream of Decepticons land on Earth and create massive destruction. The Autobot ally, Carly, gets kidnapped and Sam Witwicky, her boyfriend, risks all to save her. The Decepticons demand humans for an evacuation of all the Autobots from Earth, in return of which, they would allow mankind to survive. However, the hidden intention of the Deceptions is to destroy mankind and use the resources of planet Earth to rebuild their planet. Will the Autobots save the day?
