Synopsis

There Be Dragons tells the story of a father and son duo, who together discover certain hidden truths about one another, when the father is on his death bed. Robert is a Spanish journalist, who is carrying out an investigation on Josemaría Escrivá, a modern day saint and the founder of the famous religious organization, the Opus Dei.

Saint Josemaría has lived a controversial life, which Robert soon begins to unravel. In the process, he stumbles upon an unexpected discovery, according to which his father, Manolo, a veteran of the Spanish Civil War, was connected with the saint.
