Synopsis

This interesting thriller revolves around the final days of Edgar Allan Poe’s life and his stories that get affected by a serial killer of his time. The movie begins when Edgar teams up with a Baltimore sleuth to find out the crazy serial killer who has been using his precious work to execute his murders. In this way the terror has been dangling on the head of the author almost all the time as the techniques of the murders have been derived from him.  Things become even more critical for the author when he comes to know that a mother and her daughter have been killed brutally.

Emmett Fields takes a decision to find out all those clues that can take him to the killer. This murder looks more like a fictional murder that has been given in the local newspaper. This newspaper account is directly associated with the struggling writer Edgar. Things go haywire when Police inquires him for the murder takes place. This second murder is also inspired by the popular techniques of Poe that have been discussed timely in Poe’s stories. When the detective gets acquainted with the link between the Poe’s writings and serial murders, he approaches the author to help him before things go out of hands.
