Synopsis

It is a crucial time for all Muppet fans, because they need to save their much loved Muppet Theater. To retrench the unsound intentions of the oilman, Tex Richman, all the Muppet fans must reunite, for the love that they share.

The Muppets is a comedy film, which revolves around the sole goal of Muppet fans to save their passion - The Muppet Theatre, beneath which oil has been discovered. The stream of events introduces the audience to the endeavors of the biggest fan of the Muppet world - Walter, along with his friends Gary and Mary and how they impede Richman’s objective of drilling under the theatre, to get to the oil. In order to try to save the theatre from getting demolished, Walter, Gary and Mary need about $10 million. As this is not possible for the well-meaning trio, they realize that they need help.
