Weaknesses, whether they are innate or acquired ones, might take long, even for the mightiest of all, to overcome. Download The King’s Speech and catch up with the inspirational tale of Prince Albert, Duke of York (Colin Firth) who overcomes his childhood problem of stuttering, as he wades through a series of life-changing events.
Life flows in an undeterred stream, that cannot be controlled by an individual; however, traits, especially those that mar the persona in some way or the other, need to be curbed at all costs. King George the Fifth wants to bequeath the entire kingdom to his younger son, Albert and is afraid the havoc that might befall if his elder son, David takes over the reign. Watch The King’s Speech online and behold the moving story of Albert, whose wife, Elizabeth (Helena Bonham Carter) approaches a speech therapist, Lionel (Geoffrey Rush) to help her husband talk more confidently. The initial few instances of meetings between Albert and Lionel don’t go down really well, with the would-be-monarch feeling insulted at Lionel’s request to address each other by their Christian names. Those walls of misunderstanding and egotistical displeasure are soon shunned away with and Albert a.k.a. Bertie, soon moves towards delivering perfectly smooth speech.
As he succeeds the throne in the wake of his elder brother choosing to enter into nuptials with a divorced woman, Albert is able to live up to the expectations of his family, friends and most importantly his people. This is truly an exceptional movie that should not be missed!
