Synopsis

The Deep Blue Sea is a film written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker, Terence Davies. The plot of the film is taken from a renowned theatrical piece by the same name written by Terence Rattigan in 1952. Its name is a reference to the deep and labyrinthine dilemma faced by its central character when she falls in love with a reckless youngster despite being married to a responsible and mature man.
