Synopsis

The Dark Knight is a fantasy packed action movie, which is centered on the adventures of Batman, who encounters the dreaded Joker, his old nemesis. District Attorney Harvey Dent and Lieutenant Jim Gordon team up with Batman, to dig the graves of those criminals, who are destroying the peace of Gotham city and the innocent people who live in it.

At first, the trio gets success in vanquishing crime from many corners of the city, but before it starts dismantling the criminal groups, which are behind the ruckus, the trio comes across one of the biggest hurdles, in the form of the Joker, played brilliantly by the late Heath Ledger.
