Synopsis

An evergreen theme, of two people switching their lives with each other, but with a tinge of excitement, is what 'The Change Up' is all about. Jason Bateman stars as a hard-working father, while Ryan Reynolds is the lazy boy.

According to Mitch (Ryan), Dave (Jason) is having a successful life, working at a law firm and having a loving and caring family. On the contrary, Dave thinks that Mitch is living a dream life - a stress free life, full of drugs, drinking and women (that too without commitments) - something Dave can only dream of. Dave worked throughout his life and got into a good school, then a good college and finally, a good law firm to work with. Download The Change Up, to realize that Mitch is completely opposite to Dave. He has lived his life without the burden of any sort of responsibilities. After a long time, the childhood friends meet at a bar and then, at a fountain, secretly wishing that they had each other's life. And the secret wish comes true – their bodies get exchanged, magically! Watch The Change Up online, as then starts the hunt to find that fountain again and reverse the magic.

In this hunt, Dave and Mitch stream through a variety of emotions and realize that the other's life was not as good as they had imagined. Also, they feel that probably they had ignored the good things in their life and hence, ruined it. Both the actors are hilarious in the movie and provide a serious message in a lighter mood - the message to be content with what you have and to enjoy it to the fullest.
