Synopsis

Soul Surfer is a movie based on the inspiring true story of a surfer, who lost her arm in a shark attack. Bethany Hamilton was passionate about surfing since a very early age.She had an inborn talent to recognize and feel when the best waves were going to form. She was the winner of several surfing competitions in Hawaii.

Her best friend Alana also shared the same love for surfing and both of them were inseparable. One fateful night, when Bethany and Alana sneaked out of home for a spot of night surfing with their friends, an accident occurred. A shark attacked the surfers and Bethany lost one arm to the shark.Shattered by the thought that she might never be able to ride on the stream of waves again, Bethany felt quite frustrated.
