Synopsis

Socialism is the translated version of the French movie 'Film Socialisme'. This story is an amalgamation of three different elements. The first element is called "Such Things" and is shot on a cruise. It shows how travelers belonging to different countries of origin, most of them on holidays, interact with one another. They are very different from each other in many senses, for instance, in their appearances, their lifestyles, their speech, their children, their history and much more. The director makes an attempt to showcase the variety of different countries and cultures that define mankind. The second part takes the audience in the room of two children, a brother and a sister, who summon their parents in their 'tribunal' and ask them an innocent yet serious stream of questions about morality, equality, liberty and fraternity. This section is titled "Our Europe". The third and final element of the film is named "Our Humanities". It takes the audience on a trip to six historical sites, including Egypt, Hellas, Palestine, Barcelona, Naples and Odessa. All these places have their own stories, myths and legends, which are revealed through the eyes of the filmmaker. Download Socialism to see Europe, as you would have never seen it before! There are two things that are common between all the three elements of the movie and bind the movie together. These are a gold watch that does not show the hours, and a still camera that is used as the filming camera. The still camera gives the appearance, as if one is viewing a movie in an essentially photographic style. Watch Socialism online to experience this interesting and novel style of film-making!
