Synopsis

The story of a youngster’s dreams gone haywire, ‘Roadie’ is a film that is sure to hit home with its audiences. The film, even though made on a shoestring budget, is a gruelingly honest portrayal of life in blue-collar America.

It is strengthened by its fantastic cast, that includes Ron Eldard in the lead role of Jimmy Testagross, supported by actors like Bobby Cannavale and Jill Hennessy, who go on to make the movie a captivating tale of life in the real world. The film centers on the real-life band, ‘Blue Oyster Cult’, of which Jimmy is an active member, and has been away from home, presumably for nearly two decades.
