Synopsis

Risen is a biographic drama, which focuses on the professional life of boxer Howard Winstone, whom the world saw rising to fame with his World Featherweight Champion title in the year 1968. The film starts by showing Howard, starting his boxing career as a beginner, who quickly moved on to establish himself as the undisputed champion in Britain, initially. What he was known for, were the killer blows that he delivered to his opponents, using his right hand.

Since, during those days, boxing was not sufficient for one to count on for survival, he was also engaged in some other form of work at a factory.
