Synopsis

The movie ‘R’ offers 99 minutes of edge-of-the-seat, unprecedented thrill, as it takes us into the life behind the bars. What makes the movie unlike anything we have ever seen on our screens before is the casting of real life ex-convicts and ex-prison guards.

As if that was not enough, the movie is shot in a real life ex-prison in Denmark, which has recently been shut down. We get an insight into the life led by convicts through the eyes of Rune, who is a first time criminal, imprisoned for stabbing someone to death. As he steps into the high-security prison, Rune already has his basics clear: do not mess with anyone, and leave the biggies to themselves. Watch R online to see how long he can thrive with peace in the intensely chaotic environment that he has landed inside. As the movie progresses, we see him getting engaged in a fight with the most fearsome convict named the Albanian, who he has been warned to fight against, and possibly defeat. Rune does exactly that, and knows that he has lifted the lid off the Pandora’s Box. He gets further embroiled in the prison politics as he begins to traffic drugs on subsidized rates to the Arab tract.
