Synopsis

Perfect Sense is a science-fiction movie with romance as its essence. The story follows a young scientist, Susan, who is called on to do research on a strange epidemic that is spreading throughout Great Britain.

The affected people lose their physical sensations, such as the sense of smell, especially after an emotional upheaval. While Susan investigates the source of this epidemic, she herself is suffering from the depression caused by a broken relationship. She is lovelorn and has a cold sense of protecting herself from the hurt of love. However, she is in a vulnerable state emotionally, and finds herself drawn to a local chef, Michael, who lives near her house. Michael is charming and sensitive. Michael and Susan are like the two opposite sides of a pole, repelling each other, because neither of them is really in for a long term relationship.
