Synopsis

With director Quentin Tarantino at its helm, this movie marks the second collaboration of Tarantino and actress Uma Thurman, after their first film together, Pulp Fiction (1994). Kill Bill Vol. 1 is the first of two parts, which were initially intended to be made into a single, three-hour long movie.

The movie begins against a vibrant canvas of a joyful wedding, with a pregnant bride walking down the aisle. ‘The Bride’, who remains nameless throughout the film, is played by Uma Thurman, and is the central character of the film. It turns out that she has opted out of her life as a member of a group of woman assassins, named ‘DiVAS’, choosing the peaceful life of marital bliss instead. As you watch Kill Bill: Vol. 1 online, you will realize that there is one person who is not too happy about her tying the knot - her employer, Bill. Bill orders the rest of the girls in the team to attend the wedding, and attack her. Despite being hit with a bullet in the head, The Bride escapes alive, only to end up in a comatose state that lasts 4 years. After she awakens, she is shocked to discover that she is no longer pregnant.
