Synopsis

Directed by Agnieszka Holland, In Darkness takes us to the dark and murky world of the Holocaust. The film is an extremely riveting tale of a true survivor, who escaped death in the Second World War, and lived to tell the story. Modeled on stories like ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’, the movie shows us the grim realities of the Nazi occupancy through the eyes of their worst-targeted victims, the Jews.

The two and a half hours of grueling tortures and the gravest struggles to survive that unfold in the movie will stay with you long after the credits roll.
