Synopsis

Burglars, escapades and loots are the factors that make this movie quite likeable, especially for those who love action. The stream of the movie talks about Ryan Gosling, starring as Driver, who tosses cars for a living. He also, sporadically, moonlights as a getaway man for killers, gemstone thieves and bank robbers. In fact, he just gives them five minutes of his time, after which the burglars have to proceed on their own. Soon, it comes to the forefront that Ryan Gosling is an American riff, on Jean-Pierre Melville's introverted samourai. He is jovial and peaceful and his ethical compass is set to ‘unbiased’. Then, one day, he happens to share the lift with his neighbor, Irene, and runs away clean, from the passing road. Irene has an ex-con, who is an almost-ex-husband, by the name of Standard. He is quite entangled in his financial problems and needs to carry out one last task, in order to clear off his debts and take care for his family. Inexorably, the heist goes dreadfully wrong. The whirlwind that drives people to download Drive is that Ryan is on the run, with a bag of loot in the boot of his car and a pair of gangsters, following closely.
