Synopsis

Dolphin Tale follows the story of a boy named Sawyer (Nathan Gamble), who befriends an injured dolphin, Winter. Sawyer’s heart warms up to Winter, as he realizes that she cannot swim, because of her tail having been injured in an encounter with a shark. Being determined to give her back her lost freedom, he urges the entire community to do their bit to save Winter and restore her normal life. His mother, Lorraine Nelson (Ashley Judd) is supportive of her son’s endeavors, but there is not much they can do without some professional help.
