Synopsis

The story of Bernie revolves around Bernie Tiede, who is a good man and has fear of god in his mind, and always find ways to please others. His patience, caring behavior, and his ability to survive in small town life were his qualities, which made him beloved by all the residents of Carthage, Texas. They love him so much that after knowing the truth that Bernie had killed Marjorie Nugent, no one in the town is able to believe that Bernie shot Marjorie Nuget dead, by firing four times in her back.

In fact, they believe that Marjorie incited him to kill her. Bernie admitted before Danny Buck, the prosecution attorney of Bernie, that he killed Marjorie.
